Since 2003, Call of Duty has impressed gamers worldwide with its realistic warfare and deep multiplayer experience. Activision, the publisher of the series, has noticed its appeal and released a new title nearly every year. The 2010 release of Black Ops combines the classic Call of Duty formula with a Cold War theme, adding new modes and gameplay features. While multiplayer has always been the focus, with millions of gamers playing online and using black ops aimbot, the single player modes have been getting more attention each year. With the help of multiple development studios putting out games, Activision has been able to keep gamers occupied, with more content being released on a continuous basis.

While Infinity Ward has been the developer for most of the Call of Duty games, including the Modern Warfare series, Treyarch has had a strong presence. Originally formed in 1996, this is the studio behind the original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater and Spider-Man games, as well as several sports games. In 2001, game publisher Activision purchased Treyarch, and in 2005, they had their first Call of Duty experience by developing the Call of Duty 2 expansion, Big Red One. They followed with Call of Duty 3 in 2006, and World at War in 2008. These games were highly regarded, and they have kept Treyarch coming back to help with the series. In 2010, they created the Call of Duty: Black Ops series. This began a very successful spinoff that has allowed Activision to release a steady stream of Call of Duty games, alternating between Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare and Treyarch’s Black Ops.

Black Ops is available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, Wii, and DS. A port for Mac was also released in the Fall of 2012. While gameplay is largely unchanged, it is the first in the series to take place during the Cold War. The campaign has players taking the role of Alex Mason, an SOG operative, for most of the story. There are fifteen missions which involve various covert objectives, such as rescuing allies or evading the main antagonist, Dragovich. In addition to Russian locations, missions take place in various other settings including Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Cuba.

Returning from Treyarch’s previous Call of Duty game is the zombie mode. While this can be played cooperatively with friends, lone gamers can also enjoy the mode offline. It has players battling an onslaught of the undead, with the only goal being to stay alive for as long as possible. There are more than ten different maps that can be played with the mode, including those released as part of expansions. Call of duty black ops aimbot are compatible with the mode as well, making it easier to survive. One of these maps, Dead Ops Arcade, is a separate, unlockable zombie mode. This is special, as it’s played from a bird’s eye perspective, making for vastly different gameplay than anything else seen in Call of Duty. Just like other modes, it pits players against a slew of zombies. In Dead Ops Arcade, however, an endless supply of ammo give gamers more security, and additional help can be found in the form of added abilities and new firearms. All of these zombie modes, in addition to the campaign, give players a great deal to do without even logging online.

A deep campaign, never-ending zombie modes, and an entertaining arcade style shooter gives Black Ops one of the best assortment of play types. That’s not even including online play, cooperative zombie killing, cod black ops hack, and new modes that have made this game another fan favorite.

Activision’s Call of Duty series is well known by gamers. The first person shooter has been a staple in the hardcore shooter fan’s library since the original release of Call of Duty in 2003. In 2010, Treyarch took the series in a new direction with Call of Duty: Black Ops. This takes the narrative into the Cold War, and adds features and aimbots for black ops to the multiplayer, to increase the level of competition.

Black Ops includes many new gameplay features which haven’t been seen in previous Call of Duty titles. For example, COD Points is a new system used to obtain new gear and abilities. While experience is required to access certain items, players earn these points throughout play for free and can use them to improve their game. The Create a Class system has also been upgraded, allowing for more customization. Players can now personalize their content to a new level, with various styles available for their weapons. The perks system (which players use to give their character special abilities) has also been improved, with the option to level up individual abilities now being offered. Gamers are taking advantage of call of duty black ops hack to get unofficial perks as well, which add a variety of abilities to their characters.

There are several new features that are tailored to the more competitive players, which are stepping stones into the world of eSports. The Playercard is one such example. This is a data sheet that displays various online statistics for each player, which is also visible to friends or opponents. The card is also connected with the Theater, making saved matches easily accessible and viewable. This Theater is a new feature that makes it easier for hardcore players to save and share gameplay. It can be used to replay matches and capture snippets to be shared online, or simply on their Playercard. Users can view playback from any angle, letting them see through a player’s eyes, follow them in third-person or take control of the camera. The replay can also be manipulated, allowing players to control time-flow or go back to view something again. This allows for various strategic uses, as the more competitive players can watch a particular match and isolate any mistakes. While Wii users won’t be able to take advantage of the feature, Nintendo users can finally use voice chat – a previously disabled option. Another tool for more serious gamers are blackops aimbot , which provide extra abilities. With this release, Call of Duty has become even more competitive, and it is clearly just the beginning of a larger network of eSports.

For those who aren’t quite ready for the online competition, there is a new mode that can be played alone or with friends. Called Combat Training, the game sets players against bots, which have varying levels of intelligence. Games played in this mode do not affect ranking in multiplayer. This allows gamers to practice and progress offline, until they are ready to tackle the challenge of playing against live opponents.

Combining new features for hardcore players and modes that help the less experienced, Black Ops is a title that everyone can enjoy. Gamers seem to agree, as it became the top seller in the U.S., with over 14 million units sold. Black Ops has become an instant classic, and it has only made gamers more excited to see the next release from Treyarch.
